DENVER – (October 14, 2009) –Ken Burns’ documentary, “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea” will debut on channel 12 next week.

The six-part, 12-hour documentary will air Sundays, starting October 18, at 8 p.m. with encores of each episode on Thursdays at 8 p.m.  

Burns’ exciting documentary takes a unique look at some of America’s most majestic national parks from both a spiritual and historical stance.  This documentary explores not only the unmatched beauty of these parks, but also the significant impact they have had on America.
