How do I switch to digital?
Switching to digital television is easy to do. If you want to watch television, it's a switch you must make. Once you switch, you will enjoy three, free digital channels via over-the-air television. You will enjoy better picture and sound quality.
Step 1: Determine What Equipment you Need
Ready to get started? Your first step is to determine how you receive your TV broadcasts today and then select the best approach to go digital.

Step 2: Get Hooked Up and Enjoy
As seen in the chart above, there are several ways to get digital television. Choose the option that most closely matches your situation, then follow these basic instructions to start enjoying the great pictures and sound of digital TV:
Option 1: Use a new digital converter box with your old TV and antenna
If you currently have an analog TV and an antenna (or rabbit ears) to get an over-the-air signal, you need to purchase a converter box to receive digital channels. Once you've hooked up your converter box, you can start watching all three KBDI digital channels for free!
Option 2: Use a new digital TV (with built-in digital tuner) with your existing antenna
If you have a TV with a built-in digital tuner, you can receive digital signals over the air for free today using your existing antenna (or rabbit ears). Just turn on your TV and start watching – it's all free!
Option 3: Use new or old tv with a digital subscription to cable or satellite
If you subscribe to cable or satellite, you can receive digital services on your existing TV set.
NOTES:
- Comcast is providing only KBDI's flagship station and is not providing KBDI's Documentary Channel and MHz Worldview.
- DirecTV is providing KBDI's flagship station and MHz Worldview.
- DISH Network is providing only KBDI's flagship station.
