EastEnders Message Board

Program: EastEnders
What happened to the EastEnders Message Board. My link to it takes me now to the generic Facebook page, instead of to the Board; and there is no way that I can find to link up again with the message board. If you can explain how I can find KBDI Channel 12 EastEnders message board through the Facebook home page, I would appreciate it.
KBDI Response:

I have no idea what the problem was.  When you wrote me, I looked and everything was gone.  I then posted a new board – and it didn’t show up.  I posted again, same thing. A third time, same thing.

Now, hours later, I look and everything – including the original board is there.

Heavens!  I have heard that Facebook has been making some changes to their overall look and wonder whether we happened to be looking when things were not quite right.

I think – or should I say hope – that when you look again, you will see the discussion board is back up.

yes i am a eastenders loyal fan and it hurt me when you took away eastenders monday thu friday and to have to wait until sunday just wasn't fair. i know we get back to back but i just wish we was still getting the 6 hours but somone did ask about a marthon so we can catch up with 2004 and 2005. it seems you give everybody else a marthon why not eastenders you hae so many loyal fans who love eastenders so much and you won't give it to us on dvd. i just want to say thank you for still giving us eastender even though we have to wait until sunday at 10:00 and 10:30pm and i love it still.keep giving us our show EASTENDERS.
KBDI Response:

Thank you for your e-mail about EastEnders.  I, too, am an EastEnders fan and would love to see more episodes. J  However, that just isn’t possible since we receive only two episodes each week from BBC.  We had a backlog for awhile and that’s why we aired it every day.  Now that we’re getting caught up, we air the two episodes that they give us each week.  BBC is the distributor and they make the decision about how many episodes are distributed to licensees.

I am going to paste a Q&A below that I wrote some time ago about the change from 5 days a week to two episodes a week.  It may provide additional background for you about one of your favorite shows.

By the way, if you sign up as a fan of KBDI-12 on Facebook, you might enjoy reading comments in the EastEnders Discussion page from our other EastEnders fans – and perhaps you might want to post a comment yourself!  This is something that we started just about a month ago.

Again, thank you for your questions.

Since you took away 6 hours a month why don't you have an Eastenders marathon and get us into 2004 or even 2005. You could run it through the night because Most people woould just tape it. Heartbroken in Denver
KBDI Response:

We would certainly give that consideration if it was a possibility.  We receive only two episodes each week from BBC.  We had a backlog for awhile and that’s why we were airing it everyday.  Now that we’re caught up, we are airing the two episodes that we receive each week.  The episodes currently coming off of the satellite were originally broadcast overseas back in 2003.  Unfortunately, this is the BBC’s choice, and completely out of our control.  I hope that addresses your concerns.  Thanks for watching KBDI.
