Maggie is elected Mayor of Cicely and Chris wilts at her new image; Phil plays a metaphysical round of golf with Joel; Marilyn's attempt at dog breeding is a pop.
Both my wife and I wanted to thank KBDI for letting us enjoy television at its finest Monday through Thursday evenings at 7. It's gotten so we schedule our evenings around the cast and characters of Cicely, Alaska. Like other legendary shows such as M*A*S*H and Picket Fences, the writing was always thoughtful and consistently good, as was the acting. When we realized that the end was near for these airings, I went on my own personal quest for Northern Exposure episodes and finally achieved my goal. Now we look forward to starting our own family tradition at 7 PM and continue our visits to Alaska. Good television never grows old. Thank you again KBDI for bringing Northern Exposure into our home. Now, how about doing for Picket Fences what you did for Northern Exposure?
i would be happy to have N.E. go on forever. What will you replace it with? I would suggest MASH or a Bob Newhart show. The only other shows I watch are Julia Child and Jacques Pepin. Otherwise, I do not watch TV. M. Schilling
We are glad that you have enjoyed Northern Exposure. We will be airing a 20-episode marathon chosen by our viewers on Thanksgiving Day and on the day after Thanksgiving.
After airing the complete Northern Exposure series five times since 2007, our contract is coming to an end. We, too, believe the series is wonderful – that’s why we purchased the costly series for our viewers.
In mid-December we will start airing some new programs that have some interesting characters and perhaps reflect the quirky, eclectic and masterful writing of Northern Exposure. The original series of The Twilight Zone and Family Ties are just a couple of the additions that we hope you will enjoy.
Perhaps one day we will be able to afford the expensive contract renewal cost of the Northern Exposure series. Meanwhile, we hope that you find pleasure in our alternative programming options.
Thank you for your suggestions and watching and supporting Channel 12.

Program: Northern Exposure
We want to add our comments to the many who have written about their enjoyment of the series, Northern Exposure, which has so long been a part of KBDI's programming. My husband and I reserve the time from 7pm until 7:50pm to see the actors and actresses interpret the wonderful scripts that inspire laughter, thought, and artistic involvement each time we see Northern Exposure. I only wish I had voted in time regarding the five most loved programs on KBDI. If it were possible, we wish this one could continue.
