Shocking

Program: Eating
I watched, recorded, and then watched this program again. I have been a vegatarian for more than half my life now. With in the last year, I have become vegan. This video is definately shocking. It's ment to be, I'm sure. The American Diet IS shocking! I agree with most of what was said BUT... It was hard to watch because it is so onesided. I grew up on a small farm where we raised (and consumed) poultry, pigs, and dairy cows. I also grew up hunting and fishing. I don't eat meat any more becuase it is SO impersonal. There is no respect for the souls of the animals that are stacked up in the grocery store shelves. They live a loveless life and are killed without thought and eated without much either. I am not against eating meat. I am against the mass production of animal products and its effects on the environmet. If you have eaten meat, you should have at least been a part of that animal's life and death. Do YOU know what part of the animal you are last night for dinner? Really? Do you? I agree with the show in that we should rethink what we put on the table. Next time you go shopping, think of where that food comes from. Consider your local farmers. Sure, its more expensive, but your money is going to a better place. Who would you rather support? Uncle Jim the Farmer or Well, do you really know? We Vote Everyday. Use the power of you ballot, the all mighty dollar. Thank you, Jaime

I realize that this comment may get ignored but I am writing in response to your propaganda program "Eating". If you are a trying to get money to stay a float, but when doing so don't you think that you shouldn't lie to your supporters. Everybody is entitled to they're own opinion but you are not right for lying. Not a single thing in this program was correct at all. Get to know your producers and get the real story before you personally attack and set out to ruin the backbone of the entire world. It is easy to complain and lie when you have a full stomach. As an animal agriculturist, I will be the first to admit that I, and all other animal agriculturist give the up most care to our animals. I care for my animals because they are my livelihood. I do not see the animal activists risking their lives to take care of animals. I and other agriculturist will stop at nothing to make sure our animals are in the best possible health and are not cruel in any way. I can go on and on correcting the entire program due to the fact that everything in it was falsified. Before you air this program "Eating" again, I ask and challenge KBDI to get the other side of the story from the people you personally attacked and are destroying without even giving them a chance. Attacking viewers such as myself when I did nothing but keep you, your friends, and family clothed, hungry, and sheltered everyday throughout your lives and the lives past and generations to come. I and people just like me have been doing that without you ever asking and will keep doing so eventhough you attack and attack us, taking us for granted every day. So ask yourself this question, who really does care for the world? If you do have any questions and want to hear from the hand that feeds you feel free to e-mail me at dltfarms09@ymail.com. I will talk to you and let you know how your actions will affect the world. Thank you, David Tomky
The truth is out

Program: Eating
I am so happy the truth about the animal based diet is comingout finally.I've been a vegetarian for most of my life and for the past 3 years a vegan. I am convinced it's the right thing to do from every perspective and I see the dawn of a new era approaching, when people won't be killing themselves with the food they eat, but will make wise choices about what they put in their bodies and our planet will benefit from from those choices too.
